Wounded Veteran Gets Mortgage Free Home in Peoria AZ

The Jennifer Sanchez Team was able to share in a joy that most would think was “too good to be true”.  Today, we were able to give a home to a wounded warrior completely mortgage free!  That’s right, mortgage free!  Thanks to Military Warriors Support Foundation, Daniel and his wife Sang were able to move into a fantastic home and gain a fresh start in their young lives.

The Military Warriors Foundation or Wounded Warriors Foundation is a non-profit charity that was started by  Lt. General, Leroy Sisco, USA (Ret) in 2007.  A number of programs within this organization have been established to help assist heroes and their families with their transition back into civilian life.  Through Homes4WoundedHeroes, the organization is able to provide 100% mortgage free homes to those heroes who were injured in Iraq or Afghanistan.  Not only do our heroes receive a home, but they are also provided with 3 years of family and financial mentoring to ensure that their transition is a success.  The organization has also partnered with many top named companies to provide employment opportunities and training programs.  In addition, the various partnerships have allowed for the Military Warriors Support Foundation to offer 4-year degree scholarships.  Of course, none of this would be possible without the cooperation of Wells Fargo, so a big thank you is extended to them as well.  Today, many professionals worked together to give back to someone who has offered so much on our behalf.  Today, the adage “too good to be true” was proven wrong.  It was a great day to be a REALTOR!  Welcome to Peoria Seo Family!

The Jennifer Sanchez Team participated by foregoing the normal commission amount that’s typically paid on foreclosed properties and we facilitated the rehab process on the property to get it ready for Daniel and Sang. The property was freshly painted, has new carpet, new appliances including washer, dryer and hot water heater. Wells Fargo even sprung for a brand new AC unit to position Daniel and Sang with a turn-key home that wont require immediate repairs.

It is so nice to see a program work! So many programs do not work but this was great!

Cost of Freedom Wall in Arizona May 9th to 12th

The Cost of Freedom Tribute Wall is a Replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC, it stands eight feet tall at the center and covers 370 feet from end to end.

This Traveling Memorial stands as a reminder of the great sacrifices made during the Vietnam War. It was made for the purpose of helping heal and rekindle friendships and to allow people the opportunity to visit loved ones in their home town who otherwise may not be able to make the trip to Washington.

This year my office will be volunteering at the wall on May 9th in honor of our company’s annual Red Day, a day where most Keller Williams agents give back to the communities they serve. After several years of continuous depreciation in home values, the Phoenix Market has been experiencing a tremendous rebound. Low inventory levels and historically low interest rates continue to drive property values in a positive direction. We are starting to see more and more “traditional or equity” sellers on the market. Many who, just 1-2 years ago would not have been able to sell, are now able to take advantage of the market. In fact a short sale we had listed, received multiple offers, we were able to negotiate highest and best and actually brought the home to a positive equity and NOT a short sale and the sellers even got some money in their pocket!
